Add Sugar

If the quantity of milk is reduced, put sugar in it.And while stirring well, dry fruits can be added to it. Small cardamom can be served with raisins in dry fruits like almonds, cashews.

Roast dry fruits 

Roast the dry fruits beforehand. You can double the taste of bread pudding by heating the tawa, adding almonds, cashew cardamom to the pudding prepared after frying it.

Hyderabadi Bread Halwa Recipe

The normal joe bread halwa is prepared from which the Hyderabadi bread halwa recipe is a bit different.

Bread halwa ingredients

  • Oil
  • Ghee
  • Bread 10 brown or white
  • A cup of milk
  • A cup of sugar
  • Jafrin 2 tsp
  • 50 grams mawa/ khoya
  • Cardamom powder
  • Javitri
  • Saffron
  • Almonds / kismis
  • Fruit color 1 tsp

Collect all these ingredients and keep them.

Fry bread

Cut the bread into pieces. Mix oil and ghee in a pan and fry the bread pieces well. When the pieces of bread are fried well, its color turns brown, take them out and keep them in a vessel.

Prepare sugar syrup

In the second step, we will heat a glass of water in a vessel and a wire should come after mixing sugar inside it. Will make its syrup. Javitri in it. Safran, cardamom powder and fruit color will be added. And prepare sugar syrup.

Mix half with milk

In the third step, the 50 grams of milk mawa  that was taken will be halved.

Add milk and roasted bread

In the fourth step, the pieces of bread that were prepared by roasting will be kept in a vessel on top of the stove. Add milk to it and heat it. Let it heat up for 5 minutes.

Add sugar syrup

After that add the sugar syrup which was prepared in it and heat it well. heat only on low heat

Press the bread 

Leave the lid on the top of the pan for a while till the bread pieces which have been mixed with sugar syrup are absorbed well. Remove the lid and press the bread. The sugar syrup goes to the inside of the bread. 

Cook 7 minutes 

If you want to keep it a little juicy, then the Halwa for only 7 minutes. And if you want to thicken, then cook it for 10 minutes. After that, we will add the mawa which was saved. Adding dry fruits can be served by keeping 1 to 2 minutes on the rest.
